Chasing the unknowns.

Why people are running everywhere in chaos chasing the unknowns?. Phew! Why no one is stopping even for a single breath? Is it because there is so much competition all around with people who constantly need validation? All the set measures are dependent on what the world of the internet shows. Where you want to go, what do you want to eat and what do you want to be, everything is just proportional to what the new trends look like.

Is this the right approach, one can wonder? This all started as a medium for fun and entertainment and now it has control over all our lives.

For example, opening LinkedIn and seeing so many peers or people updating their resumes or work experiences makes you think what you do work-wise is not even an ounce of all the abundance of opportunities. But is this feeling good? I mean doesn't it makes you unhappy and useless?

We are so accustomed to ordering the best sellers in the market from all the shopping websites, eating and going out to the cafes which have the most stars or good reviews or booking a cab with the driver ratings. This all can make everyone confused or restless. Are we judging people based on other people's opinions? Is it not morally wrong? Why, because we just want the best now and there are options to get the best?

We are so addicted to the accessibility of information everywhere that we stopped talking to people or even wait for any time to assess if we really need to know that.

This vast abundance of data and knowledge is so overwhelming that I wonder how one can actually know what one wants. Everything is influenced or inspired, if that doesn't make us flaky, what will?

Do we really need this? Do we really have to keep up to date? Do we really want so many options?

We don't even know how much we have addicted to this set of trends which might not necessarily set by the professionals or people who we can trust, these are mostly set by unknown faces who honestly don't even know what is real or not.

This urge of being the 'perfect' in something and then show it to the world is going to cause so much than what we are going to gain from it in the end.

Everyone wants to be an entrepreneur, everyone wants to go to the Maldives, everyone wants to work in a big shot company, everyone wants to wear the trendiest clothes, everyone wants a good body to show it on Instagram, everyone wants to know the latest trends and follow them, among all of this, how are we expecting to create something or be someone unique and new. If this continues for a longer run, we will all behave like robots controlled by machines.

This put us into this conundrum: what if we oppose all of this and just out of rebel, we refuse to participate and end up finding or losing the real things, the real joy, the real people, and the perfect job. Are we ready to sacrifice all of this because we don't like what is going on in most of the world?

So many riddles, hmm🤔

Clarity and hustle..

One of the biggest things we are dealing with in this ever-changing world is clarity. Clarity on what we want, what we wish, what we desire, and what we should fight for.  Why we are not clear on things? Do you think this is maybe because of the abundance of options? but is that really the reason why we are not clear? Or is it because there is one more option which is quitting.  My parents constantly tell me that in their whole life journey, they never had this option. They never had the luxury to give up on things. Because they always have to fight for even the smallest things. and us, the new generation 'think' we have time, we have resources and we have options.  This 'Always hustle' or 'Never settle' culture is going to bring doom to us very soon. We are never going to be happy or satisfied with where we are. And this is not about only when we are young but this attitude change is going to affect us, even more, when we get older and we have lesser options.

Saturday Wisdom 101- Letting go.

Something in life is worth letting go of but you will only know that after you had experienced it before and we can predict the possible outcomes. Like - Arguing with parents or anyone on anything. Or arguments in general. You can't change anyone's opinion in one argument. FOMO. Trying to connect with the ‘friends’ who haven’t been there for you and you lost touch. Sad about getting a dream job but honestly not working for it. Prioritizing your career over EVERYTHING. Go to family functions because you mostly never have that option. Take up a job which you are not passionate about but good money. Seeing other people doing what you wanted to do but couldn’t. Expecting something from anyone just because you think you are closer to them. Something which is happening and we don’t have any power to change like aging, politics, natural calamities, etc. Other people’s opinions on you. It anyways shouldn’t affect you at any point in time. You are not supposed to compete with anyone for
