The Social Dilemma

The Social Dilemma on Netflix. It looks such hypocrisy to write about this especially on the internet media itself. People are so hyped about this so I gave it a watch. And man it's horrifying AF. I got scared more than I have ever watched a horror series because yes this is true and yes it is happening and yes we know. Not giving any spoiler alert as you can go watch it on Netflix but in this post, I really am obliged to tell about how I feel about social media ruling our culture and life. And we KNOW all about this and we are still stuck in a trap.  I have honestly tried staying away from it for only 24 hours and it didn't work. I got anxiety, FOMO, and bored to death. The constant need to make updates on the world and people, all the data availability in just 1 click away and most importantly the urge to share and ask for opinions seem like a dire need to survive. There was a day when we were happy watching cartoons for 1 hour a day, playing hide and seek and cards with sibl

Woman

In the bubble of patriarchy, we live in, What's the stand of a strong independent woman. Fighting for her family, dignity, sanity, and passion all the time at every step. No one believes her, why? Because she has strong opinions. No one believes her, why? Because she fights for herself alone. No one believes her, why? Because she raises a strong voice against any injustice or discrimination. No one believes her, why? Because she cannot be put into any labels. No one believes her, why? Because she is breaking all the shackles society and people are putting her into. No one believes her, why? Because she possesses better skills and knowledge and that can threaten 'some' people. No one believes her, why? Because she will still protect herself and rise above this hypocrisy. No one believes her, why? Because she aspires to be more than just labels. Hoping for the day when she will not have to prove her existence to anyone.
