Love and Loss

Relationships are so precious. I cannot stress enough the fact that everything in life can come and go and then come again but if you lose someone you love, you cannot get them back. Seeing so many losses nearby because of this pandemic and stress, it breaks my heart to know that someone has lost their son whom they have raised from the womb, someone has lost their partner whom they promised to spend all their life together, someone has lost their parents who made them who they are now as well as someone lost their siblings, mentors, and friends. The void which got created because of this loss can never be replaced with anyone or anything, people will have to just learn to live with it. So Love. Love with all your capabilities, love with all your heart, love with everything you have, and express that enough. Tell everyone you love and don't want to lose that how grateful you are that they are in your life. Do not take them lightly. You can build your career later again, you can go ...

Stepping out for the first time during pandemic

Precisely 84 days since I stepped out from my home. I came/shifted to my city right after lockdown started, little did I know that it would lead to such major pandemic and I will be the few lucky ones who  are going through all of this along with the family. So thanks to all the pampering and me being super lazy, i didnt want to step out at all. I was happy in my cocoon. But apparently people are stepping out. Just like people were carrying their helmet to avoid penalty, all thanks to the govt, now they are keeping their face covered with masks. I was surprised to see roads busy like old times.  Just a brief history, I haven't been in my hometown after Diwali last year and even when I came here this time, my only travel was f...

51 days of lockdown

Lockdown Day 51 Definitely the fastest 51 days of my life The longest time I have been stuck into home and didn't step out from my home at all  I am the lucky one who got to get back to hometown before lockdown started. The place where my family lives in lockdown is under curfew area from the last 51 days so there is no relaxation at all in going out for anything. Police is all over the place. Its on drop silence on the roads.  Initially 21 days were all exciting,  depressing , entertaining and what not.  Everyone enjoyed their time as well cribbed about not going out.  Everyone struggled, they explored their hobbies, called to their long distance loved ones, learnt something new, fucked up their sleep and eat cycles hence the basic routine but now at 55 days of complete lockdown everyone has become calmer. They have more patience now. As someone said in 21 days, if you do something daily then it will just became your habit. Now work from home, not going out, not...
