Why people are not happy anymore?
Most people have a good job, a good salary or good relationships with other people, still why I don’t know a lot of people who can bravely say that they are at peace. So many motivational speakers say that happiness is not a state, it’s a way of life. You should not feel joyous for a particular moment but just because you are alive, eating, talking, or sleeping properly, you should be forever grateful and joyous.
I can see people try though, some people harder than others but most of them have now found their peace at being miserable or sorrowful.
You do not have to ask people to know if they are happy or not, you can just feel in their vibe and now because of this whole post-pandemic era, you can’t even feel that because of no physical connection so they can probably post like 2-3 times on your social media with hashtags #besttimeofmylife #sohappy to prove how happy you are but it doesn’t justify the fact that they really are.
So well my point is not blabbering another generic thing, it just makes me wonder, some of us are right now in our most comfortable zone and yet it is a struggle to keep a big smile on our face for the entire day.
It does not mean that we are depressed or unhappy but our energies and dopamine sure are degrading with each passing day. What do you think it is because?
Because of lack of human connection?
Because of travel restrictions?
Because of unwanted family attention?
Because of lack of opportunities?
Or is it because we are just not happy with how we are right now? Or because we are losing our self-confidence? Or because we are not proud of ourselves anymore? Or because of our underachievement?
Until we are solving our #selflove issues, solutions to our outer first world problems are not gonna solve this or sustain our joy for a longer run.
So I guess we all have to do now is to prioritizing what our body and mind need, love ourselves the most, do only what we love, and give ourselves time to heal. What do you say?
Peace out!
